The Forest School

Business & Enterprise Centre, Forest School, Horsham.

The works consist of the construction of a new two storey steel framed brick-built structure with two separate, mono-pitched, aluminium standing seam roof structures and a flat roofed area. The engineering block extension involved taking down load bearing parts of the existing structure.

Mountbatten Library

Remodelling and internal alterations to the main entrance foyer, loans desk and associated areas including mechanical and electrical works.

Works included the demolition of existing internal screens and partitions with the construction of new walls, partitions and glazed screens, minor structural alterations, suspended ceiling works, installation of new doors and windows, new floor finishes, internal redecoration complete with the addition of communication / security / control systems.

Fernhurst Primary School

Construction of single storey 2 classroom extension with link corridor and toilets. Traditional insulated cavity wall construction, with facing brick externally, part timber pitched roof covered with Redland tiles, part timber flat roof.

Refurbishment of school office, installation of disabled stair lift, replacement of windows and doors to assembly hall, recladding of plant room walls and roof and other associated external works.

Bury C E Infant School

Construction of a new hall extension and formation of a new classroom by conversion of part of the existing hall, together with an extension and alteration to the existing administration offices, associated mechanical and electrical services and external works.

Great care was required to minimise disruption to the day to day workings of the school.

Hollycombe Primary School

Construction of single storey classroom extension with link corridor to existing building. Traditional concrete block cavity wall with cedar cladding externally, timber roof construction covered with cedar shingles, external play canopy to play area.

Single storey extension to existing classroom – timber trussed roof with tiled coverings, timber painted windows.

Refurbishment of existing WC and lobby adjacent to new classroom extension.

Chichester High School for Girls

A new extension to the Gymnasium and Drama Hall adaptations including formation of additional lecture space and new external Sports Courts.
